Day 2: Mission Accomplished

I purchased the fabric for this dress from a small fabric store in The Bronx. The female associate was very friendly and at one point gave me the "Oh your back again" line; which I'm not sure was a sales pitch or a case of mistaken identity. Nevertheless, I walked out with reasonably priced neon multicolored spandex and light blue sheer material ( $3 per yard ). She even helped me determine the best needle for the spandex material to combat the toughness I'd worked through yesterday.

The Dress:
Modish sheer blue top--2 1/2 inch black elastic band--multicolored mini

  4. This is great! Such a work of art Bird! You make this stuff look so easy while in my imagination Im confused because I cant even thread a needle; literally LOL. I think the colors on the dresses are great and the styles are so modern and sexy, yet chic and classy. Keep them coming! I would love to see more of your work--I'm certain the more peices you do the better they will become but as far as right now they are BOMB. Next time let me see something that is apart of you-maybe feathers perhaps lmaoooo...On the contrary, JOB WELL DONE! I Love it!

  5. Sade - I am sooooooo proud to know you. Your dresses are fabulous. I wish I was still in my twenties or still a size 3 (lol). I am new to blogging - this is my first blog that I want to follow. Your Mom is so proud and I see why. Girl, you are going to be giving Vera, Donna, Pink, etc. a run for their money. Now come up with something sassy for the 50-something women. Me and your Mama will be your model. Love, Ms. Cheryl
